I started building a board with my son about 2 years ago. We worked on the 9'6" long board and the surf bug bit me. I decided with my background in carpentry, that I could do this for a living. It's funny how your kids get you involved in things you never thought you'd be involved in.

Saw a picture of a fish and said to myself, "I could build that." From just a brochure, I designed the stringer, ribs, and decking with a slight modification to the tail in order to channel water flow. It'll be interesting to see how the completed board rides in the water.

    1. I actually started two fishes. One is a 6'6" with 2" rocker and thick rails. The 5'10" fish has a lower rocker by 1/2 inch and thinner rails. When I get pictures taken, I'll post them. -R
